I have been a hardware consultant and locksmith since 1999. With over 350 hours of classroom time and seminars, including extensive testing, I became a Certified Registered Locksmith (CRL) through testing with the world-renowned and industry recognized Associated Locksmiths of America (ALOA) in 2004 and an ALOA Continuing Education (ACE) instructor in 2007. I am ready to handle your most basic needs of key cutting to the more complex requirements of addressing building, life safety, and fire codes associated with your doors and hardware. While I service the needs of my customers within a 30-mile radius of Lancaster, which includes Harrisburg, York, Lebanon, and Reading, please don't let my small company fool you. In addition to frequently seeing my work locally as I travel from job to job, I am extremely proud to boast of my work I don't always get to see on a day to day basis. That includes protecting buildings, structures, and critical infrastructure from Washington D.C. to New York City, and from the jungles of Ecuador to the Israeli oilfields of the Mediterranean Sea! Rising Son Locksmith tries to offer the clearest explanation of pricing as possible, however, given the myriad keys, locks, and hardware on the market, exact pricing is not always possible. That is why we offer free on-site service calls within the Lancaster area. While we service Harrisburg, York, Lebanon, and Reading, we may charge a trip fee to do so. Our standard hourly rate is $85.00 per hour, plus materials (keys, et ctera). Generally, when asked what it costs to rekey a house with two doors - two locks per door - expect to budget between $115.00 to $150.00.
